2010 Dictionary Project

January 1st, 2011

The Dictionary Project press release was another annual success!  The third grade faculty and student representatives at Anderson Mill Elementary School were excited to receive our gift of Dictionaries and Thesauruses. With cut backs affecting the Education system, Williamson County Republican Women’s continued support of Literacy is an investment in our Future Leaders. ” I believe the children are our future, teach them well and let them lead the way”……as Educated Republicans! The story about WCRW’s Dictionary Project was posted in the Round Rock Leader Newspaper on November 1, 2010.  (http://rrleader.com/main.asp?SectionID=11&SubSectionID=11&ArticleID=25866)

2010 Constitution Day Project

October 1st, 2010

Williamson County Republican Women are proactive in supporting Education within our County. This year we have the honor of working with Anderson Mill Elementary School. Anderson Mill Elementary is on the border of our County and often forgotten, but not this year. WCRW provided every 5th-grader with a copy of the U.S. Constitution. With much excitement from their faculty and our club, the teachers and students had the needed material to participate in the Constitution Day Project on September 17, 2010.
